In my perception, we are all a manifestation of All That Is. As Wayne Dyer put it, if you dip a cup into the ocean, what do you have in the cup? ocean. Not the whole, obviously, but a part of the whole nonetheless.

Though it may surprise you that you were able to perform this act of healing, it doesn't surprise me at all. How could we be a part of God and not share in the awesome power that is inherent in Being?

But I know how you feel. We forget who we are as we make this human journey, and we think that we are powerless, and small.

In my humble opinion, it was divine guidance that led you to do something you weren't sure would have any usefulness in order to awaken you to your powerful self.

Some of us are afraid of our power, because we have seen it misused so often. But as long as we live love, we will have no desire to use power in any way that is not for the highest good of all.

you might be interested in a book ive been studying this term, quantum doctor by amit goswami. its a little heady, but he's put together a whole new paradigm for healing and wellness that i find fascinating.
we have the power. no question about it.

Once I had a sprained ankle and I had just received a tiger's eye stone in the shape of a heart. I had no understanding logically of the stones metaphysical potential, and yet felt perhaps I'll try to use the stone to heal my ankle. I placed the stone on my ankle while directly focusing on a mind ful mantra of "heal, heal" after 15min I decided to take of the stone, and to my surprise a bruise in the shape of the heart shaped stone had appeared on my leg, then lasted there for 3 weeks. I had a logic harvard grad there and he said he would have never believed me if he hadnt seen it with his own eyes. Feel the love, and when your focusing you intent on anything, do your best to have clarity with your intention. Unlimited channeling awaits you. You will communicate with the universe, " I"m really interested," as a result the pages and chapters of this long saga will unfold before you.

Fascinating! It is an honor to meet you Marie. Whether this was a spontaneous event or the result of a years of practice, only you can say.

I'd be very interested to hear about your meditative practices, or for that matter any disciplines you may have used to get to that point.

The good news is... if you did it once... then you will certainly be able to do it again. Of course... when the time is right. Something to look forward to. Eh?

Do not be afraid. It is very natural. As natural as blinking an eye or growing hair. You were both ready and had she not been open to receive, nothing would have happend except you may have felt a bit better from the increase in energy flow. I have been a massage therapist for over 10 years and I practice a very deep form of meditation. I meditate for hours instead of sleeping, but this is a very natuarl thing for me. Being in touch with that still place within brings a healing energy through the body that simply can not be described.

Just be careful regarding any ego you may have. It will tell you that YOU did something to someone when in fact the love in her simply responded and awakend. Your kindness was a trigger for what was already in her. Her own healing life energy was 'triggered' not created by you. Just as no one can make another person angry, but only trigger the anger that is within. Same thing here.

What a wonderful story Marie. I hope you continue your work. Keep in mind though.....the work is not in the "doing" it is in the "un-doing" of any negativity within yourself so that your essence can flow through you much more freely. And it sounds like it was truly flowing through you both in that moment. The essence that we are is quite beautiful and peaceful and does not harm. It is when the conditioned mind steps in with a bunch of fear based responses to the situation that we get in trouble.

I have had several experiences myself. Both my own body responding, and at other times other people responding to what i was doing. I have tried various things over the years, and also had some things that just sort of "happened" without reading about it. An example that happened some years ago, being a strong energy in my hands. A noticeable increase in my hands and the area of the body, where i parked my hands on myself. I felt rejuvenated, and my health improved at the time. A few months into that i came across a book called The Reconnection. When i read it, the energy was happening in the hands, but differently. I started having vivid dreams where it seemed like a deceased person was trying to communicate with me. I remember soon i reached the part in the book that said "its too late now, you cant turn back", or something like that. I did not end up continuing with that, as i did not know what to make of it. So i can understand when you said about being scared from being new to this.

The healing or change you witnessed is a perfectly natural occurrence. It is just the conditioning of beliefs over the course of ones life that may hide what is natural. Apart from people who have an illness or some condition that makes the body less efficient or less effective than its potential, a body has an amazing and natural capacity to heal. Given the right conditions, the body can and does heal. We do not question the fact that cells are constantly rejuvenating. At its maximum unimpeded capacity, the body can heal a scrape or cut in the skin. Yet, why be surprised with in the witness of accelerated healing? Accelerated from the commonly accepted "norm".

I have practiced this off and on over the past few years with sometimes amazing results, sometimes good results, and a small number of times not aware of changes.
I learnt it through participating in a weekend workshop. A very affordable option is to learn it through a book which i found harder to learn that way at the time. I have seen a few people in the QuantumTouch forum successfully learn it through the book. The community in the forum is very supportive of new people learning. The workshop is an opportunity to practice, and learn experientialy with other people. It is quite a simple thing to learn, and even some children have learnt it too. It has the essential element of using breathing techniques to "raise your vibration". When that is done and one knows the perfection of health for the other person (as you did), then the other person has an easier time of rejuvenation, healing, or return to balance. The elderly lady (or her foot and leg) "entrained" to your state/ vibration. The analogy used in the book is that if one has two watches/ clocks of different speeds, where they are placed near each other, the fast one will drop a bit in speed, and the slow one will pick up a bit in speed. I have actually seen this happen on two different occasions with my mother wearing two watches over 2 days or so, where that very exact same thing happened. With QT, one continues the breathing so as to remain at that vibration, and the other person moves up the scale. That is the basic QT that can be very effective. There are other advanced parts to QT as well. You may see on the web site about bones moving. That does not always happen, but it is not uncommon, and i can vouch that it has happened within myself, and i have witnessed this in working on some people.

It is a free ebook. I have had some "experiences" while reading the book, and there is an exercise at the end of the book to practice creating Love energy. Which can be used for healing, or anything you like. One experience was where i accidentaly walked into something with my face. It is a bit difficult to explain it fully, but somehow the love vibration was within a split second reach of t­he collision, and i had no pain, no bruising and no effects afterwards. I believe the impact of such a strong collision would have left bruising, pain, and marks on my face if i had not done that.
