Thou I enjoy gems and crystals I have never felt their energy. I have used them as a focus to draw energy to myself but this is more of a placebo helping me by giving me a point of reference helping me to concentrate.
I can feel psychic residue on some inanimate objects but it has to be a strong emotion associated with it. I usually feel it as a wave tingling the palm of my hand traveling up my for arm but the center of all this energy seem to come from my solar plexus. when it is larger like a room in a building I feel it compressing me from all directions and sometimes from one area. I tend to avoid places like that it is most notable when it is negative. when it is positive I tend to feel comfortable an just relax so it is less noticeable.

hi jaz! good topic. i do get energy... funny, not so much from all the gems and chrystals that a lot of people seem to resonate with, but river rocks, they speak to me sometimes, whispers of age... theres a redwood grove not far from my home and those have an energy of thier own as well... lots of plants i feel, as well as the grounding of the earth when i get my fingers dirty planting things...
mostly i dont put a lot - or any - effort into trying to figure this out intellectually when it happens. seems almost like that would be an insult, you know what i mean? it transcends logic, bypasses logic really... makes me think of a lovely book called The Human Antenna. The author talks about this kind of stuff, that energy is always being exchanged... i think he's right...

A couple of years ago I started getting really bad pain in my jaw and back whenever I went through construction sites. I didn't put it together right away, just felt sorry for myself for a second, then put it aside as the pain went away. Eventually I felt a longing to go to a construction site at night and just sit and listen. I didn't actually go, but I did send my heart forward to a place where there was road construction going on, and I felt like the earth was distressed. There is no way to quantify this, but I have since then been putting my hands on everything that grows, and the dirt around it every chance I get, and I feel the energy there, sometimes I feel a less than others, but it hasn't been really clear in terms of words, just a knowing and acceptance of purpose in any given organism.

I wore rose quartz to help heal myself after a broken heart. I felt like my chest was on fire at times while wearing it. I had it on a long chain so it would rest near my heart.

I would have to think if I felt anything from something else.

I think many people here on this sight are Clairsentient. Highly sensitive Beings! It was explained to me that many of us in past lifetimes were healers and had to go underground and I think we still do. Which is why we use our Feeling sense. Years ago we may have been threatened by the church for Heresy.

Many of us seem to be on a fast growth spurt too but are lucky in that now we can reach out to others and share our experiences, we can find strength and learn about handling this sensitivity.

I long to meet many of you on this sight. Just because confirmation of "who we are" is brilliant.

My teacher told me that we have a lot of power to heal and bring light BUT we havent been trained and in tribal society we would have been recognised, helped and taught more along spiritual lines. Thats why TRIBE is great cause we can help each other.

I feel the energy of crystals and many other things... but I feel it where I'm touching it (generally with my hands...).
Most of what I feel comes in emotional tonalities that I feel in my chest and head--where you experience emotions and thoughts. So perhaps that's not exactly clairsentience, because it's more emotional than physical. It's mostly in the area of the solar plexus and heart chakras, and then up in the head. Sometimes it's solely emotional--like "I want to know that person" or "I want to avoid that person." Often it's more complex, a little chord of feelings that sound in me in response to something--it's a similar sensation to what music does, when certain music creates emotions in you.

Sometimes I have had distinct physical intuitions, though. I remember getting a tingling on my face as soon as I set eyes on a woman who billed herself as a psychic medium. I interpreted the sensation as a sign that she was for real, and I've since come to believe that she is--she's uncannily good. Once I remember a pilot (small planes) asking me if I wanted to go flying on a clear beautiful day, and I felt something like pile drivers shooting out the soles of my feet, fifty feet into the earth--a powerful and definite feeling of NO, I do NOT want to go flying! I'm staying right here on the ground! So I said no thanks, and then he told me that was probably a wise choice, because there was some really dangerous turbulence that day (microbursts).

And sometimes my feet just take me places. More than once they've burst into a run, or turned and walked me in a direction I was not intending to go--it's like I blank out and then "come to" a few yards later, after my feet have done their thing and I'm running or I'm walking in the unintended direction. On several occasions this has either helped me avoid danger (muggers) or run into/meet someone good.

I am rather new to the awareness of my sensitivity. I was always sensitive emotionally and could pick up on what those around me were feeling, but I am just learning to expand my awareness to nature.

What I discovered this past year, at a time when my life situation was decomposing, was awareness of the healing energy of trees. I have spent much time among the trees this past year. I love them! And what a beautiful love relationship! They give us what we need for our bodies to live, and we give them what they need.

Last summer, when I was sitting in a park enjoying the beauty of a landscaped garden, and feeling my connection with all that is, I noticed a persimmon tree. When I gave it my full attention, I noticed it was loaded with fruit and I felt its fruitfulness all through my body as waves of energy radiating up from my root chakra.

I don't worry about applying meaning to things like I used to. I just enjoyed the experience and find it interesting.

Yeah, I do get quite a bit of energy vibes and information from the world around me. I've always been painfully sensitive and self-aware. The past few years, though, I have been trying to learn more and more and am able to really understand where I need to be and what I need to do with myself in my environment. I am very blessed, and my growth is a very humbling experience. I am learning what is healthy and unhealthy to affect my existence and it's amazing

I love nature, but grew up in the city. I have had the opportunity to seriously bond with plants and trees before. Almost like such an ancient intelligence that i feel very connected to. And insects, I have had some seriously neat experiences with them, and (this is so odd) colonies have looked out for me when I needed the extra help in the past. I guess God looks out for me in many forms - same as us all!

Now I am keeping my fingers crossed - we are taking steps towards a big move. Instead of 19! power lines right outside our house, I-35 highway literally right next to us, and constant noise of traffic and loud noise of neighbors that goes straight through our walls, there will be 10 acres of trees and only 2 power lines and the quiet peace of our own land. I have always been incredibly affected by electricity, etc...blown up my share of computers, but seems...now the idea that we might move somewhere so very quiet and truly open to our dreams is almost beyond belief. I think I will have a much greater opportunity to reconnect with nature and am excited to further develop my relationship with the world around me.

(So send some positive vibes if you will, we go back to visit again tomorrow and will make an offer on the property - it's pure heaven to me! I really hope she will accept our offer! I can hardly sleep at night, I am so excited)

Yes, I am clairsentient. Extremely so.... More than I am clairaudiant or clairvoyant. I feel things in my hands, as my hands work like eyes for me. I also feel things in my heart, stomach, gut ie: 4th, 3rd, and 2nd chakras. I can feel through my feet, and plants seem to communicate to me through my 6th chakra. Crystals I hear with my hands or heart or both. I have been trained to block, filter, and protect myself. I can feel energy off things left behind from who was there before. The information I get from those sensations? Well that depends on the source. Crystals contain ancient information, plants too, or they just say they are thisty or hot or whatever. they energy from places and past people can be icky or good, depending on who was there. I clear energy if it is icky. I feel all of us empaths should be trained, or taught, to shield, protect, filter. We should all know how to clear an area of energy.

I didnt know that Clairsentience was the name of it, but I do feel energy when I feel crystals. But ive always used it as a way to tell if they were real or not, lol. But I really like gem stones because the energy the give off to me feels good. And its usually just in my hands and sometimes ill feel energy in my third eye.
