i found this increadible. i got a program where you select particular frequencies to alter your state of mind and its amazing. the first time, i broke into a laughing fit of bliss like i was a little kid again. this program has frequencies set up for all of the descriptions. ill send it to anyone who asks. over AIM preferably or email. aim- thesecession
i never meditate without the alpha sound. you dont really realize its effectiveness untill you try it both ways.. i encourage EVERYONE to give this a shot. im willing to send a meditation tape or the program to anyone and everyone who asks.

Re: BINAURAL brainwave entrainment - very interesting.
Tue, July 4, 2006 - 9:03 AMHey,
This guy knows his stuff, a programmer, a student of consciousness and other goodies.
However, in recommending his website, one should be VERY careful with those contrivances the turn on things not directly under the control of an experienced psi-entec it. I got into VERY SERIOUS SPIRITUAL TROUBLE using this very program...back in 1998:
www.bwgen.com/article_mas...ojection.htm
and the main site:
www.bwgen.com
This guy, I do not recall his name now?, in 1998 before his website went fully commercial, had created meditation, spritual and psi-enabling presets, for his Brain Wave Program which he wrote in 'C', a programming language. Others, principally Monroe of the Monroe Institute had discovered that the Human may be entrained to external rythms. As you all know, depending upon our dominate neuro-rythm determines the degree and type of consciousness we experience. The Monroe Institute discovered and developed bin-aural beat rythm machines to cause Human brain rythm entrainment. Theta is the state where pyshic phenomenon events. Its all about our Khudalini, you know how good it feels to orgasm? Guess what!? An orgasm is a simple, one-Chakra transient Khundalini rise. It is the same stuff which powers our psi. Those Mystics who do not partake in poking-the-monkey, are very psi-enabled and by properly managing the Khundalini fluid can accomplish some fairly heavy things.
US Military Remote Viewers employ Theta rhythm to assist the viewer to enter lucid-dreaming/Yetzirah)
The guy who created Brain Wave Generator, had a hard to find, Khundalini web-page dedicated to entering Khundalini. He created presets for his program, and then with several warnings, he gave instruction exactly how to enter Khundalini with his PC based soundcard driven Brain Wave Generator program running his own Khundalini preset. Only took about three days of usage, and I took a ride on the psi-side psycho-psi-roller-coaster. Phew!! And its still not over. Not like doing psychidelics, eat a pill, psi-out for 10 - 20 hours, come back and crash. Nope not like that, since 1998 til this moment, I am in Khundalini rise. Sometimes I am in it nealy completely, other times not so much (thank Self).
Anyway,
be carefull...Khundalini Zucinni is tastey treate, but is it safe to eat?

Re: BINAURAL brainwave entrainment - very interesting.
Tue, July 4, 2006 - 10:08 AMHi, I tried a few of Bob Munroe's cd's though I am not sure which cd it was. It was a series that is all I remember. I just remember having to say 111 in order to bring myself back to reality. I should get them back and try them again. I could be wrong but I think the stronger the ego the more one needs to listen to the cd's over and over again. Which could be why they did not work for me the first time around.
It is good to have that inner child trust enough to come out and play!!
Thank you

Re: BINAURAL brainwave entrainment - very interesting.
Thu, July 6, 2006 - 3:33 PMI use BWGEN and have just started trying Neuro-Programmer2, which has headphone-free options. I find with bwgen that the Awakened Mind preset puts me in a great mood afterwards. I don't notice much while using it, but afterwards I feel a lot of energy in my heart chakra and I feel really good and relaxed. I also tried the focusing from drowsiness preset and after 20 minutes I was indeed sufficiently alert to get needed work done, though I hadn't had enough sleep the night before. The sleep induction preset didn't work for me the one time I tried it.
I'm considering buying the Thompson Awakened Minds and sleep induction CDs on amazon ($11 each) since they use a different form of entrainment. You don't need headphones with them either. If the Neuro-Programmer turns out to be good enough I may just go with that since you get many different presets for about $50 instead of paying $11 for each one and both allow headset free listening. So far it seems the NP2 is more focused on training the subconcious mind, mentally reporgramming yourself the way subliminal stuff was once thought to work, by using this more effective technique. But I'm not as interested in changing the contents of my unconscious as in freeing all the energy of the contents of my unconscious. So I don't know it has much to offer me. Too bad it doesn't come with an Awakened Mind preset like the others.
I guess I could always mix NP with the Thompson CD for a total cost of about $65. That way I'd get headset free Awakened Mind (which now I get thru bwgen, but using headphones all the time) and could use the headset free sleep induction on NP2 (assuming this one does work for me), and still have the option of the other NP2 self-programming presets in case I ever want them. Too bad bwgen doesn't have any headset free methods of entrainment, only binaural beats. -

Re: BINAURAL brainwave entrainment - very interesting.
Fri, July 7, 2006 - 12:02 AMHi Indi and Sherri,
As I understand things, the non-headphone type of 'induction' is not entrainment based. In other words, entrainment can not be accomplished using sound which is not algebraically integrated between the brain's hemispheres and therefore is not 'entrainment', but something else, possibly a sham.
Here is the physics of how entrainment works. First, understand that the brain exhibits specific electro-chemical behaviors depending upon the mode of the activity of the brain at any given moment. I at one time could recall ALL of the modalities and their requisite neuro-rythms, but frankly, I am only interested in Theta these days. Theta is the neuro-rythm which enables the brain and commensurate consciousness to move into Yetzirah or the lucid-dreaming state...eg, dreaming awake. Yetzirah is a useful state as it is in this state where certain psychic function transpires.
Sleep, relaxation, lucid dreaming and other states exhibit specific neuro-rythms and frequencies. Normally our brains move into these states autonomously and often with out our pre-knowledge or direction. However, one can initiate artificially these states by introducting into the brain's cognition a MORE DOMINATE RYTHM, or a rythm which has a stronger 'signal' than that of the brain's present rythm. This process is known as "ENTRAINMENT", and now here is the catch. These frequencies are outside of the Human ear's ability to hear or commute to the brain through the auditory channels. Take Theta rythm as example, its frequency is typically (can vary from individual to individual for a variety of reasons), around 3 to 7 Hertz or cycles. Human's can not hear this narrow spectrum, so how can one get this 'sound' into the brain, easily and cheaply? Neuro-researchers can directly stimulate the brain in a variety of ways, all of which are outside of the lay persons pocket-book and technical skill level. The Monroe Institute discovered that by simply putting two Human hearable tones, one each into each ear, with a slight mismatch in frequency, that the brain algebraicly integrates as one much lower tone. For instance, one requires a frequency of 5 Hertz, so, put 400 Hz into the left ear and 395 hz into the right ear and the brain hears:
400 Hz
-395 Hz
====
5 Hz, and if the resultant 'tone' is of sufficient magnitude or power, the brain will move to following that rythm 'forgetting' its own.
Simple huh?
With non-headphone usage CDs, the algebraic brain signal-processing can not work, as the brain only hears the two at once and the algebraic integration does not take place. So how these AUDIO CDs work, is a mystery to me, and I suspect that they do not, infact entrain the brain.
Indi, depending on what calls you, I would stick with the BWG program and presets at least until you have exhausted all of the publically available (preferably created by knowledgable people) presets. I found hordes of these things, by searching using the Google Database Engine with, "BWG presets".
Best Wishes,
Love
