Thu, December 4, 2008 - 5:10 PMIt is an abbreviation for a Myers-Briggs personality type -- Intraverted/Intuitive/Feeling/Judging type. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is based on Carl Jung's personality types, but is not identical to them.
I am an INFJ, although I am I/E, F/T and J/P ~ borderline Intraverted/Extroverted, borderline Feeling/Thinking and boderline Judging/Perceiving. My inferior function, without question, is Sensate.

when i took the test, i got the whole business of infp being the most rare etc etc.
i think that changes. perhaps now another one is more rare and INFP more common, but at least here i seem to run into people with similar qualities.
if i were out to make a species with the most survivability, that encased qualities necessary for enlightenment, i'd personally spread the traits across as many different subsets of humans as possible. that would increase the probability that things like "Empathy" would survive and be brought to prominence in future generations....

I believe that there are three types of thinkers that make all who live in this world. Leaders, followers, and independents. There are very few people out their who are thinking independently like i am. -

These type of people are very independent, they are very analytical and they understand human behavior and the primitive mind. If that is not and INFJ, then I dont really care, I just know that there is a small group of people that I have discovered to be very rare and unique in how they think.
Amiablehermit, the reason you are hating the outside world is because you have great insecurities. You are so attached to your body that you believe in the illusion that you are it. And you hated what you thought you were so you changed it at a price, to think it would solve your sorrows, yet it only brings more negative feelings.This is NOT the place to vent out your negativity cathy, this is a place of learning and healing. I am fond of this site of the people, but there isn't a damn thing I am fond about you. Even though we both came from the same origin, you have lost your path, and you're leaching off of good people who have good souls. But these people dont bark back as I do because it brings them to your level, so the prefer to not talk at all and I DO NOT LIKE THAT. You need to get off of tribe.net and get on life and reconnect to what you really are. Your soul is unhappy, stop bringing others down to you level for normality, like me. I am sick of it. -

I know that about being 1% and sometiems that helps me inunderstanding how I differ fromothers in reactions perceptions. I am gited and highly intelligent.. not a typist tho, and quick to get a clear sense of things.
If you can hold onto the happiness about you rcapabilities and then understand hwo others may think then you can use this information to help you in work etc... -
